MK Moshe Gafne has sent a letter to Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein in which he states following the visit by US President Donald Trump, a renewed diplomatic process between Israel and the PA is in order.
In his brief letter, he speaks of a “meaningful” process that has “ramifications”.

Why on earth would Gafne be interested in new peace talks? This doesn’t affect the charedi community directly first of all, secondly it’s a big problem halachikly to give away pieces of eretz Yisrael, and thirdly every time we do these cursed talks it always involves us releasing terrorists and/or leads to new rounds of violence from the arabs.
Did some politician put him up to this to give the illusion of support from the charedi community in the promise of kick backs down the road?
