A Frum child was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Marine Park on Shabbos afternoon, and police have released a photo of the car.
The NYPD tells YWN that the incident happened on Shabbos May 20, 2017 at approximately 5:36PM in the vicinity of Kings Highway and East 31st Street.
The vehicle left an 8-year-old female with serious trauma to the head and body. A police investigation determined that a vehicle struck the victim and continued driving south on East 31 Street and made a left turn on Avenue P. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side front bumper. The victim was removed to Maimonides Hospital by Flatbush Hatzolah with a broken right arm and bruised lung.
The vehicle is described as a red 1998-2002 4 door Honda Accord with unknown gold style NY license plate.
