16:10: An EMS crew operating at the scene of a vehicular accident near Hizme were attacked by Arabs hurling rocks.

16:31: Two Arabs believed to be carrying a bag containing two explosive devices were taken into custody at the Tapuach Junction Checkpoint.

16:55: Rock-throwing attacks at motorists traveling on the Gush Etzion-Hebron Road near el-Aroub.

** Over 200 protested in Jerusalem near Shar Shechem today, Nakba Day, waving PLO flags.

** A petition filed with the High Court by attorneys for former President Moshe Katsav for a ‘new evidence’ hearing was rejected. The president has exhausted any and all possibilities for another hearing and is continuing to serve his prison sentence.

** Retired High Court Chief Justice Dorit Beinish received an honorary doctorate from Ben-Gurion University in the Negev. During the ceremony she lamented the growing widespread violence in today’s Israeli society.
