President Barack Obama arrives in Manhattan on Monday for his first visit to the area since he voiced his support for same-gender marriage.
Obama will affirm his stance on the issue during his trip; first, at a commencement speech at Barnard College and then at a fundraiser in Chelsea sponsored by the LGBT Leadership Council.
New Yorkers can expect traffic-tie ups this afternoon during the president’s visit.
The president will also sit down for a taping of “The View,” which airs on Channel 7 Tuesday morning at 11:00AM.

It seems that same gender marriage is shaping up to be a major campaign issue. Hopefully, Frum Yidden will turn out en masse to vote against Obama. But this and not Israeli policies should be the defining factor.
