The Arabic shas being sold in Jordan seems to have made the country’s best seller list. YWN-ISRAEL reported in March 2012 that the Center for Mideast Studies in Jordan published a 20 volume set of Shas Bavli in Arabic, available for sale in Jordan for $750.
A set was even purchased by the nation’s national library and it is on display.
As was reported, 95 researchers and linguists worked in Amman for six years to publish the Shas Bavli.
