A training exercise was held during the night between 01:00-03:00 simulating a terror bomb attack on the Jerusalem light rail as it passes over the Cord’s Bridge near Binyanei Ha’uma.
EMS and security personnel were compelled to deal with the scene and treat and evacuate victims under harsh conditions and limited space on the bridge. Police, border police, Yassam commando forces, firefighters and EMS personnel were involved in the training event while simulated two fatalities and 12 wounded victims requiring transport to hospitals.
