The United States expects Israel to pick up the tab for moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Makor Rishon reports.
According to journalist Ariel Kahana, the reason the move is not taking place as expected is that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is unwilling to pay for the move as America is demanding.
It is pointed out that he was unable to obtain additional information. Some opine that President Trump expects Mexico to pay for the wall so President Trump appears to be treating everyone equally.

something doesn’t seem right with this story. i really doubt the accuracy of the “facts”.
Makes a lot of sense…
100% agree
It’s Israel’s gain that the embassy is moved so they should pay for it
I would guess that there is a protocol or convention in international law as to who pays for the relocation of an embassy. I think the demand for Israel to move the embassy is just a cheap trick by the Trump administration to postpone (perhaps for 3-3/4 years) to move of the US embassy to Jerusalem.
Who in his right mind would believe such tabloid-incredulous fake news?
The embassy move would be the biggest political win Netanyahu could ever hope for… And he’s going to gamble that for a couple $$Million??
Why even report that?!
I’m a YUGE Trump fan, but this is wrong. If the embassy = US soil, then it is the US’s responsibility to pay.
Ridiculous ,it never should have been in Tel Aviv to start with! Embassy expenses are paid by the country they belong to. I find this hard to believe.
