Seems the choice of sound-bytes by this questioner is deliberately meant to mislead the public. As example, the context of Donald Trump Jr’s remarks of Russian money. Here is the context of that sound-byte (interview in 2008):

So now a U.S.-based group operating in the open is a problem because they are Russians? If they are, then why didn’t Obama’s administration (which took office within months of the interview) do anything about them for 8 years?
