On Tuesday night Shomrim of Baltimore presented an “excellence in leadership award” to Major Richard Gibson of the Baltimore City Police Department.

Shomrim thanked him for his hands on approach to resolving crime through his outstanding community collaboration efforts that led to the timely arrest of last weeks armed car jacking suspects that was published by YWN.

Shomrim also thanked him for his support in keeping the community safe 24/7/365.

Shomrim told YWN that Gibson is “a true reflection of all the best the BPD has to offer our City”.
