It was a day of drama at at the Peleg Yerushalmi.
Not long after HaPeles Editor Nati Grossman returned home to house arrest, he was ordered back to jail by an order from the High Court.
Grossman along with the newspaper’s CEO Shmulik Elyashiv, manager Avraham Trager, and Chaim Yavrov received the same ruling.
Grossman had already received a heroes welcome with supporters singing and dancing outside his home, and Peleg-affiliated Rabbonim coming to greet him. The others had still been in prison and were scheduled to be released moments away from when the new ruling came down.
According to a report by Bichadrei Chareidim, Judge Dafna Barak-Orez made the decision, overturning the earlier decision by the Lod District court. For reasons unknown, they have been ordered to remain in prison until Friday afternoon close to Shabbos, when they will then be released to house arrest.
As YWN had reported, more than 2 dozen Hapeles / peleg yerushalmi officals were arrested on Isru Chag Pesach. Police said they were taken into custody in connection with alleged extortion, efforts to get large companies in Israel to advertise in the Peleg-affiliated HaPeles Newspaper.

It is not often that I comment on news items written in YWN. I know that YWN says ‘they have not taken any sides in the disagreement in the Litvishe world’ I would hate to see what the news items would look like if YWN had taken a side. You are so one sided I can’t remember when was the last time you wrote anything positive about the Peleg group. Anybody who knows the truth knows that the Police, Judge are all on the side of Degel most probably even work for Degel, what reason can there be that the Editor and manager of Hapeles are kept in Jail on ‘Trumped up charges’ are they Hardened Criminals? This is a short celebration of the Mafia police and the Bnei Brak faction. The Yerushalmi group are very strong and, as usual, always get their way. The High Court are only keeping them back for another few days to make a show as if they have more power but in truth the High Court are terrified from the Yerushalmi group.

Blocking roads when necessary is and always was acceptable when approved by Gedolim. Neither did we hear from you nor from Peleg Bnei Brak when the Hilltop Youth’s blocked all intersections a year or two ago. Several months ago Peleg Bnei Brak protested in Yerushalayim but we didn’t hear from you then either. These are only some examples of your hypocrisy.
I usually do not leave any comments but i have to agree completely with shoitagamur, most comments that support Peleg have no idea what they are doing to delay people going to work, going to a chasuna or coming home from a tiring day, by blocking roads , they also have no idea what Hagon harav Chaim Kanievsky holds of what Peleg is all about , become informed before you support a organization like Peleg

No one was matzliach disagreeing with Rav Schach z”l. Likewise no one was or will be matzliach disobeying Rav Aaron Leib or R Chaim shlita.
