The condition of Hagaon HaRav Shmuel Yaakov Bornstein took a turn for the worse during the night.
Rav Bornstein is Rosh Yeshivas Kiryat Melech and was admitted to the hospital at the end of last week. He remains in an intensive care unit in Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital, sedated and intubated as a result of a cardiac incident.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Shmuel Yaakov ben Yehudis Tzviya bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.

I would assume his mother’s second name is Tzivyah – a biblical name as mentioned in II Kings 12:2, and not the modern feminized version of Tzvi that is written in the article.
