An opportunity like this does not come up often.
The largest Bais Yaakov south of Baltimore needs your help, and by participating, you have excellent odds of winning BIG. The South Florida community has exploded in both Jewish population and a Torah lifestyle, thanks in great part to the existence of Bais Yaakov Miami. Many tourists from around the world benefit each year from the warmth and chessed that emanate from our Bais Yaakov students, through their chessed activities, babysitting, summer camps, Bnos Groups and Bikur Cholim to the elderly visitors from up north. By participating in our annual Chinese Auction, you are not only helping a venerable Torah institution, but you have excellent odds, due to the smaller number of participants, of winning BIG. In addition, by clicking here to purchase tickets, you will automatically be entered into a special promotional raffle for 2 free tickets to Florida (with a minimum auction purchase of $100).
In 1983 when Bais Yaakov of Greater Miami opened its doors, it was the realization of a long-standing dream for the Miami community. Beginning with seven area students, Bais Yaakov′s enrollment has swelled beyond expectations to the current student body of over 300 students in grades six through twelve. We look with pride at our graduates: young women imbued with Yiras Shomayim, possessing knowledge in both Torah and secular studies, committed to their own personal growth and the growth of the communities in which they live. Bais Yaakov of Miami has earned for itself a worldwide reputation for excellence as its graduates have gone on to higher schools of learning, and have consistently excelled in each school. Bais Yaakov boasts a staff that is role models for the girls, inspiring their commitment to higher Torah values. The values and personal responsibilities that are inculcated in Bais Yaakov help them perform community service in forms of chessed, Bnos and JEP. Bais Yaakov′s chessed program is well known in the entire community as the place to turn in times of need, assisting in all areas to those who need. Our girls serve as youth leaders in the community through our Bnos program, providing spiritual forms of entertainment on Shabbos afternoons. Girls are also involved in outreach programs, such as JEP, helping to spread Torah values to those who are not as educated.
A day at Bais Yaakov is filled with learning, ruach, excitement and purpose. It is these feelings that live on in our graduates, helping them to create the foundations for the future generations. They carry the torch of our mesora, which brightens the many communities where they have built homes of their own.
