The MTA will drop its rule requiring transit workers to add the agency logo to their religious headgear, according to the Daily News.

The dress code will be revised as part of a federal lawsuit settlement, the News said. The suit alleged discrimination against workers who wear turbans and khimars, a Muslim head scarf.

Religious headgear will be blue like the official uniform, according to the tentative settlement.

Amardeep Singh, a lawyer representing six Sikh subway workers, said the move “ends a very troubling chapter in the history of the MTA.”

He said there is an “agreement in principle” to be codified soon.
