I was shopping for a scarf on eBay and I found out that people buy cosmetics from China. Isn’t that dangerous?
April 24, 2017 2:30 pm at 2:30 pm #1261404MenoParticipantWhy would shopping for a scarf on eBay be dangerous?
April 24, 2017 2:53 pm at 2:53 pm #1261514🐵 ⌨ GamanitParticipantI found out that people buy cosmetics from China
April 24, 2017 3:55 pm at 3:55 pm #1261569YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorYes, shopping online is most certainly dangerous.
April 24, 2017 6:25 pm at 6:25 pm #1261645LightbriteParticipantYou can buy cosmetics from China at the grocery store.
Yes it is dangerous.
Lead. Dead animals. Tar. Blue.
Ebay is wonderful.
April 24, 2017 7:14 pm at 7:14 pm #1261657👑RebYidd23ParticipantAre Romantic Bear cosmetics tested at all?
April 24, 2017 8:38 pm at 8:38 pm #1261678Lilmod UlelamaidParticipantMod 29 +1
April 24, 2017 8:39 pm at 8:39 pm #1261685LightbriteParticipantWhy are bears wearing makeup?
They’re naturally beartiful.
April 24, 2017 10:52 pm at 10:52 pm #1261798👑RebYidd23ParticipantFor some unknowable reason, in whatever country in Asia they are based, someone decided to name their cosmetics brand Romantic Bear. People who shop on eBay and Amazon seem to be using them without worrying about safety.
April 25, 2017 6:34 am at 6:34 am #1261844yehudayonaParticipantBears are obviously romantic. Everybody has heard of bear hugs.
April 25, 2017 7:20 am at 7:20 am #1261859LightbriteParticipantI wouldn’t touch it. That’s your face. I would be more concerned with their ingredient/chemical content than whether or not the company tested them.
The makeup could have unlisted preservatives and ingredients. That wouldn’t help even if they tested it on cats to say that it’s safe for humans to wear. Yea right.
But I am more cautious in these matters. That’s my face. My eyes. My mouth. No way do I want to risk exposing myself to risks by slathering colorful neurotoxin all over my face.
Definitely don’t go by the masses here. That is my opinion.
I’d rather give you a bracha for beauty and to find a great sale on reliable US-based cosmetics than see you buying some stam unregulated brand.
RebYidd23: May you always be naturally beautiful find a great sale and/or affordable reputable brand of makeup to enhance your beauty always with every blessing for revealed good 😙 💛💄👑💲🎀💚🌺🌷🌼🌸🌹🌻💐
April 25, 2017 8:40 am at 8:40 am #1261904👑RebYidd23ParticipantTesting isn’t always on animals. There are chemical tests that test for levels of specific chemicals as well. What I want to know is why people assume it’s safe.
April 25, 2017 9:40 am at 9:40 am #1262049LightbriteParticipantThat’s what I meant btw. Even if it said tested, that doesn’t indicate that the makeup doesn’t contain toxins and who knows what.
I bought scarves from China on Ebay too. Also cute socks. Also a book stand. Letter openers. LED dog collars. Headbands.
Some people buy laptop batteries from China and those are super unregulated and chas v’shalom sometimes explode.
April 25, 2017 9:41 am at 9:41 am #1262046LightbriteParticipantBecause ignorance is bliss
April 25, 2017 10:05 am at 10:05 am #1262095DovidBTParticipantTake a close look at your computer accessories (modem, router, etc.). It’s surprising how often there’s a “Made in China” label.
