Joseph, as someone who lives in an all frum neighborhood, I know and appreciate those advantages. we can argue the benefits/minuses of living OOT vs in town some other time. that was not the issue here. the point was raised that building up small OOT communities meant that one was entrenching oneself more in the galus and forgetting yerushalayim. i just argued that this particular issue was more likely in all frum established communities.
