Some of the Peleg Yerushalmi leaders arrested on motzei Pesach in cities around Israel were brought to court for an arraignment hearing on Tuesday.
The accompanying police spokesman video explains a bit regarding the nationwide operation as well as the raid on the HaPeles office.
Police are stressing all the arrests are connected to widespread extortion of executives of large Israeli companies and not in any way connected to recent Peleg protests against the draft or the arrests of talmidim.
Protests were held in many cities around the country beginning late on Tuesday afternoon including Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Petach Tikvah, Tzfat, Netivot, Ashdod and Rishon L’Tzion.

So now you have it all. There is no need to prove anything. No need for a trial. The all knowing and infallible police have declared it and so it is!! What sort of “justice” system has a police spokesman declaring the guilt of an accused in public? This is political persecution in classic police state methodology. Extortion? The real extortion will begin now. The Government will tell them to stop all opposition to the draft of face years of prison millions in fines and torture. This is the true face of the Middle East’s only deMockracy.
