The weatherman is predicting a day of significant rain on Thursday, the second day Chol Hamoed Pesach. As such, many events planned for Yomtov have been canceled including the day of entertainment in Hebron.
According to weather reports, there is a flood warning for areas of the south and Negev including the Eilat mountainous areas. The 80% precipitation forecast is leading to many event planners to reconsider, with some announcing cancelations.
Yomtov hikers and persons planning to participate in events are urged to check prior to setting out to determine if the event is being held. The Shas event scheduled for Jerusalem’s Teddy Stadium was cancelled, but later in the morning it was announced the event will be held earlier, now scheduled to take place on Thursday, the second day of Chol Hamoed Pesach.
