CityPass, the operator of the Jerusalem light rail, announces it is finalizing preparations for Pesach, which include a change in operating schedules to accommodate the hundreds of thousands expected to be visiting the capital for Yomtov and Chol Hamoed.
There will be personnel stationed at ticket sales stations during high peak hours to assist visitors in purchasing tickets. This applies to certain busy stations along the route. There will also be balloons and other decorations as well as performers at some of the strops to assist getting into the Yomtov atmosphere. Performers will be stationed at the Central Bus Station, the Davidka, and City Hall (Safra Square).
CityPass promises the trains will operate at a much higher frequency to accommodate Yomtov visitors, confident the company will provide a happy riding experience to visitors and residents alike.
