A Delta flight from Istanbul to JFK made an emergency landing in Dublin this morning, officials said.

Delta flight 73 from Istanbul to John F. Kennedy Airport was due to land in New York at 5:34 p.m. this evening.

The pilot requested to make the emergency landing of the 767 jet after reporting suspicious activity in the cabin, according to the Irish Times newspaper. The plane is reportedly in an isolated area of the airport and Irish authorities are going to board it, the newspaper reported.
