Arabs have damaged and/or destroyed 1,000 grapevines in the Binyamin Regional Council of Shomron belonging to the community of Achiya located near Shilo. Yishuv officials admit that they are not absolutely certain the attack was perpetrated by Arabs, but the signs indicate this is the case.

The Meshek Achiya operation is the largest in Yehuda and Shomron, where olives and grapes are grown for commercial use. The vines on an acre of land were destroyed and the fence around that area was downed. In addition, the irrigation system was vandalized.

Officials affiliated with the operation estimate the damages in the tens of thousands of NIS.
