Tzibur Angered Over Poor Service on 400 & 402 Bus Lines on Yomtov

The daily HaMevaser reports the chareidi tzibur is angry over “poor service” on the 400 and 402 bus lines during Pesach. These lines operate between Jerusalem and Bnei Brak. The newspaper reports passengers turned to the bus company to air grievances, stating hundreds of families with infants waited and waited at bus stop in Jerusalem and Bnei Brak because bus service simply did not address the yomtov volume of travelers.

Commuters explain that they contacted bus dispatchers during yomtov, explaining how many many people were waiting while buses failed to arrive. Corrective action was not taken, adding to the frustration of travelers. Adding to the frustration of the tzibur was the fact that buses were overcrowded and conditions were simply unacceptable.

The report does not include any response from the bus company.
