Peleg Yerushalmi protests are continuing outside the home of the head of the ‘Beinish’ (Bnei Yeshivot) soldiers in the IDF. ‘Beinish’ is the term used generally for hesder soldiers.

The protests are taking place outside the Beit Shemesh home of Yaakov Rashi as well as outside the home of his parents in Petach Tikvah.

Military police and commander view the protests most seriously, as well as the incitement as there are calls to be mispallel for his demise. Military officials report that any threats against him and his family will be addressed expeditiously, with the full weight of the law.

A flyer was released by both the Eida Chareidis and Peleg Yerushalmi to daven for Rashi’s death for they perceive him playing a major role in bringing religious soldiers into the IDF.
