Peleg faction protestors on Sunday 28 Adar were back in the streets, at Missubim Junction near Bnei Brak. They carried signs and shouted as they tried shutting down the roadway. According to a Dan region police spokesman, the group became unruly and some sat on the roadway.
Police dispersed them, arresting thirty participants. The police statement states “There will be zero tolerance to unauthorized protests and violence, which endanger passersby and drivers alike.

After all is said and done, more Yeshiva boys who go out of the way to enroll are arrested in the recruitment center because the officers there decided they don’t deserve an exemption, than those who do not go for an exemption at all and arrested at protests. Dozens and dozens of yeshiva boys – not from Rav Auerbach’s yeshiva – are sitting in jail now (but the media is silent about them for obvious reasons) and hundreds were jailed although many were released.
Arye- This is not the first time you’ve posted complete LIES. Maybe try to bring some proof to your ridiculous claims? A person who goes to register and request an exemption does NOT get arrested. There is not even one such bochur sitting in jail. There may be some chilonim or shababnikim who’ve tried to pass themselves off as chareidim, but I have a difficult time referring to those as “yeshiva boys” as you put it, so probably sitting in jail is doing them some good. And the “yeshiva boys” who have gotten arrested are also mostly not from “Rav Auerbach’s yeshiva” as you call it- they are from other yeshivos affiliated with him and peleg Yerushalmi. But you obviously enjoy adding to their propaganda.
Stop already!!
After Eight – actually Arye is right and you are talking a load of rubbish, spreading the LIES put out by various media. I could give you details of several bochurim who were arrested but no-one was prepared to help them our publicize their plight. You probably work for the army catching these boys…..
ha ha after 8, you sound like an ostrich – head buried in the sand.
if you dont have boys of recruitment age, you have no zechus to talk.
i have heard enough heart wrenching stories from mothers of boys who went to the army, hat, beard, rekel, yiras shomayim and came out ‘goyim’ (their words)….
don’t be so quick to talk!!!
The absolute only truth we know here is that a bunch of hooligans who follow Rav Auerbach are disrupting the lives of thousands and stealing time from them. No one here knows how many genuine bochurim have been arrested when they appeared to request an exemption from army service.
#2 You’re behind times, sir, or just plain living in fantasy land hiding your head in the sand. When the Tal Law expired several years ago, getting a deferment or an exemption was much more difficult. Stepping into a recruitment center since then is (almost) like going into the lion’s den. If they don’t believe you’re a yeshiva student, even if you can prove it, you’re automatically drafted to the military or arrested and jailed if you refuse. Do some investigation but don’t expect to find out anything from Fakestream media outlets. You need to ask Bnei Brakers personally but be careful not to approach any chaperim (catchers who get paid for catching Yeshiva boys who’ve not enlisted) or relatives of chaperim because you won’t get a true response. Will you have the courage to apologize for slander and ask Hashem for forgiveness when you’ll find out that Arye is 100% right this time and in the past?
> more Yeshiva boys who go out of the way to enroll are arrested in the recruitment center
Presumably “enroll” means to enroll for an exemption. But in any case the statement as written is absurd. Exemption should be requested before the person turns 18, and there is no legal way to arrest someone for the military before they turn 18. In other words, the arrest, if it happens, can only be because the person broke some rule (such asking too late for the exemption, not providing proper documentation, being caught playing hooky etc.)
A few months ago the secular news reported about a secular girl who was taken y her family to emigrat out of Israel when she was 17 years old. When she returned some time later, after she had turned 18, to visit Israel she contacted the military about exemption (based on having emigrated). They told her to report and all will be well. They arrested her as soon as she showed up (the reason it made the news is because they lied to her). The point being, she was required to have asked for the exemption before turning 18 because when she left the country she was already 17.
#8 Who’s talking about yeshiva boys under 18? When the Tal Law was around Yeshiva boys had no problem getting the exemption from the recruitment center and were exempt from military service – period. Today, though, since the Tal Law expired, a yeshiva boy cannot be sure he won’t be drafted to the army if he steps foot in the recruitment center even if he sits and learns all day, has the proper documents and doesn’t play hooky. Why don’t you investigate before babbling things you know nothing about?
Arrest all the thugs specially Rav Auerbach’s boys.
Remember our real gadol Harav Schtainman disassociated him self with these so called people for a reason.
