IDF Drone Crashes In Syria

An IDF Sky Rider drone crashed in Syria on Monday 22 Adar, providing an opportunity for Hizbullah TV to report it shot the pilotless aircraft out of the sky.

The crash, which is believed to be due to technical failure, is still under investigation. Officials add that there are no military ramifications as the Sky Rider is not a classified drone craft.

Hizbullah did not miss the opportunity, with its al-Manar TV broadcasting Syria shot the drone down in the Quneitra area.

Such crashes are regular occurrences, usually due to technical malfunction and are a part of the operational realities of the Sky Rider, which is often used to assist artillery corps commanders in obtaining intelligence updates.
