Hamas leaders in Gaza released statements to the media denying a rocket attack into Eilat from Sinai during the night as reported by YWN Israel. The message added that there was no rocket attack towards Eilat and the reports to the contrary are simply Israel’s effort to legitimize a major military offensive against Gaza, using this false report to set the stage for such an offensive.

YWN Israel reported that at least one Grad katyusha rocket was fired from Sinai into a construction site in Eilat at about midnight, Wednesday night to Thursday, 13 Nissan 5772. Baruch Hashem there were no reports of injuries in the attack.
