Krias Yam Suf, Multiplied By Thirty

“Finding one’s shidduch is as difficult as the splitting of the Red Sea (Sanhedrin 22a).”

Before this Pesach comes, a miracle as mighty as krias yam suf will take place: 30 times. Yes, 30 special young men & women will join together with their bashert.

However these young people have undergone more suffering than most. They are impoverished orphans living in Israel, and they must rely on the kindness of strangers to get married.

That is why Rav Chaim Kanievsky & tzedaka organization Kupat Ha’Ir have taken on a seemingly impossible task: To marry off 30 orphans before Pesach. Yes, for these men and women who live in fear of homelessness & starvation, miracles truly will come true this Nissan. Those who donate will be prayed for by Rav Chaim Kanievsky personally.

For an orphan, a family simcha is can mean an an acute awareness of those who are no longer with us. These 30 special young couples must also face the humiliation of being painfully poor.

Do not take for granted the fact that this Pesach you will have hot food to eat, and a home to eat it in. Please consider changing the lives of these young people who hope & pray for a brighter future.
