Coalition Chairman MK (Likud) David Bitan surprised many when he announced on Shabbos if the Bayit Yehudi party does not stop its threats, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will disband the coalition and call for elections.

During a Haifa Shabbos cultural event, Bitan announced “Bayit Yehudi and Kulanu are saying ‘the coalition depends on us and therefore they will not force us to accept opinions and decisions. Not Kulanu and not Bayit Yehudi. We have it with their threats and if they continue, there is a good chance we will head to elections”.
