Barbara Cadranel’s mezuzah will get to stay where it is: On the doorpost outside the front door at her Stratford condominium.
A dispute that had raged since last week has been resolved with a happy ending for all parties — Cadranel, the California Condominium Association, its condo board, the Jewish community and the public at large, people on both sides say.
“I am pleased to inform you that the California Condominium Association has resolved the issue of the mezuzah on the door post of the unit owned by Barbara Cadranel,” Kurt Ahlberg, the condo board attorney, wrote in an email to the Connecticut Post. “The mezuzah will, of course, remain and no penalties or fines whatsoever shall be assess or levied upon her.”

it was a stupid rule to begin with, It was ok to put crosses on the door, but the door posts were forbidden. a bunch of jerks.

YonasonW– the original article which stated quite clearly that the Condo asociation allowed “crosses and wreaths …..”
#2, Connecticut. The article is very clear. #3, the difference was between the door and the doorpost. The rule allowed anything on the door, but not on the doorpost. Now they’ve changed it.
