Actually, the headline is misleading for it may lead one to believe there was only one rock-throwing attack against Jewish drivers in the Har HaZeisim area when in fact, this is a daily occurrence and frequently, occurs numerous times per day.

This report refers to a particular attack that occurred on Wednesday afternoon. YWN-ISRAEL has since learned that the victim was a chosson, on the day of his chasnah who was traveling to his mother’s kever to be mispallel before heading to the chupah. B’chasdei Hashem his injuries were minor and after being treated in Shaare Zedek Medical Center he headed to the chupah.

On their way to her kever they were attacked and the vehicle’s windows were smashed. A large heavy can was also hurled at the windshield. The driver was a friend of the Chosson named Dror. He became confused as windows were smashing and he stopped the vehicle. Suddenly, close to 20 Arab youths surrounded the vehicle and began pounding them with rocks and heavy objects with obvious intent to seriously injure or kill them.

Dror was still on his phone, getting directions to the kever as they were driving, and he began screaming for assistance. Baruch Hashem, they emerged with only one minor injury and the extensive damage was just to the vehicle.
