A tour company that books hotels for Jewish people from around the world claimed that guests are being passed over for the glamour of pro golf. For two years the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort has hosted families from around the world celebrating Pesach in kosher vacation packages.
The company that puts together the vacation plans said the resort is breaking its contract with only a few months notice. We have families who count on this and make plans literally a year in advance,” said Stuart Vidockler of Presidential Holidays.
Those filing suit claimed that the resort, which is just finishing a $100 million makeover, is canceling their plans so that it can host a pro golf tournament.
The tour company said it hopes to get a day in court soon because setting up kosher kitchens and synagogue facilities takes a lot of time. The company said there are about 250 guests signed up to celebrate Passover in South Florida in April.

One thing is sure – whatever happens this Pesach, this resort should be shunned and avoided in future years by any and all tour arrangers – put Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort on your AVOID list
so that others will learn a great lesson.
I think if they find the group comparable accommodations AND COMPENSATE THEM FOR BREAKING THE CONTRACT, there is no reason to boycott them; let the make amends.
The hotel stands to make tens of millions of dollars in publicity and it’s purely an economic decision. It has nothing to do with the snobbish anti-semitic upper crust country clubs of yore, which for some reason Jews insisted on wanting to join.
There is still signs in elite areas of Florida stating, “NO Jews, NO Blacks & NO Dogs”.
