But what does Rava’s ruling mean? The Shulchan Aruch doesn’t tell you, but take a look at what he says in the Beit Yosef. I linked it above. The Rema says:

The Mishna Berura says ??? ???? ????? on the shita of sleeping and in the Beiur Halacha he says ??”? ?? ?? ????? ??? ????
So if you want to pasken in strict accordance with the Shulchan Aruch/Rema/Mishna Berura you have nothing to worry about. If your posek told you otherwise then I might have to recommend seeing DaasYochid’s earlier comment.
