As a mashgiach, I can say just because a product has a recognised hechsher does not mean it is so kosher. I can only talk from local experience at my end. But it all depends on the supervisionary level – onsite mashgiach, or casual kashrut office inspection, and even personal practices. I want to say more but whats the point…
