Actually she did tell us that it’s not a problem of tznius but she just made the rule just BECAUSE. She herself said that there is no reason why she doesn’t allow them to be worn in shcool- so basically what less chumras said is probably true because it’s not the first time she said something to this affect. she actually told us “go ahead, wear them at home, on sunday, whenever you want just not in school where i can see you!” She is really not my style!
