Despite reports from Egyptian officials of a ceasefire that went into effect at 01:00, rockets were fired from Gaza into the Eshkol Regional Council district. There were no reports of injuries or damage and the air force did not respond. Nevertheless, there has been no official notification of Israeli acceptance of any ceasefire agreement from Israeli officials.

While it is quiet in southern Israel this morning, Tuesday, 19 Adar 5772, the IDF Homefront Command remains on alert and all schools between the 7km-40km range from the Gaza border remain closed today.
