Unlike in the US where every emergency is consolidated thru 911, there are 3 separate numbers for police (100), fire (102) and ambulance MDA (101) in Israel. For a medical emergency, you want to call an ambulance, MDA or for a quicker first responder, Ichud Hatzala (1221). A good hint to remember the MDA number- raise your hands next to your head for help. each arm is like a 1 and the head in the middle is the 0.
