It’s nuts to use expensive cuts for chulent. Second cut brisket it great and you don’t need to cook for 24 hours. Also, minute roast; use thinner front end for roast and back part for chulent. Finally, calachel meat is very good. Grain finished is best for any meat but not necessary for second cut brisket chulent meat.
