I will also give my support to saying that the answer is obviously mRNA and not ‘nucleic acid’ as Health said. The question is asking for the specific type of nucleic acid, and mRNA is translated into protein in the ribosome. As ubiquitin and others pointed out, this should be very very simple and basic stuff to anyone that is really in the practice of medicine.
