Rav Malkiel Kotler, Rosh Yeshivas Beis Medrash Govoha, lent his support to the Learn and Network Kollel’s upcoming parnassah expo set for this Sunday. In the haskamah, Rav Malkiel speaks glowingly of the work of the kollel in helping people find respectable means of parnassah while allowing participants to be koveah itim laTorah.
“The gathering of professionals that is to take place on Sunday is a gathering with great importance, affording residents of our city an opportunity to find honorable parnasah”, the haskamah read in part, before ending with a bracha for all participants.
The Expo will iy”H take place on Sunday, February 26, in Bais Yaakov High School (12:00-2:30 for women and 2:30-5:00 for men).
Prominent corporations from across the Northeast, along with dozens of small and midsize community businesses, will run booths. Representatives of various headhunting corporations and employment agencies and organizations will be present to help match up parnassah seekers with prospective employers and ventures.
The expo is a special event created by the Learn and Network Kollel, where it will share the many tools and affiliated partners they have combined to help the klal Binyanai Parnassah.
Learn and Network recognizes that networking is key to success in any parnassah endeavor, both for business owners and job seekers. Whether matching employers with potential employees, an aspiring businessman with a potential partner, or professionals to teach new skills or help one navigate the stress and confusion of unemployment, Learn and Network has already helped many in Klal Yisroel see greater success in parnassah, B’ezras Hashem.
The Parnassah Expo was arranged as a special opportunity to help fill the tremendous need amongst bnei Torah in areas of parnassah.

For job placement and job training, the OU Job Board is very helpful: http://www.oujobs.org
As one of the people involved in this expo I want to let people know that there are all types of job opportunities available from High qualifications to no qalifications.
One specific one I would like to mention in case anyone is looking in this field:
We have a research analyst position and a database programmer position (with knowledge of SAS and SQL).
If you think you might qualify – be sure to check it out at the expo on Sunday.
There are many other options available as well.
