All you were good enough for????? No one should be so kovod conscious that they turn down ANY kibud related to taking the Torah out and putting it away. And, being a woman, I would be thrilled and delighted to even be able to TOUCH the Torah every Shabbos (an option that is not given to me) much less be offered the kovod to be goleil it. It would sadden me to think that any man would feel “cheated” to be offered glilah.
