Four men have been charged with religiously aggravated public order offences after pedestrians had eggs and insults hurled at them in Golders Green and Hendon.

Mohammed Khalfiam, 19 of St Augustine’s Avenue, Wembley, Haider AL-Fardan, 21 of Bush Grove, Kingsbury, Mohammed Jawad, 20 of Blenhaim Gardens, Wembley, and Aimen Mohamed, 19 of Broadhead Strand, Colindale, were each charged with three separate offences relating to the evening attacks in December.

The charges include using threatening behaviour, causing alarm or distress and committing a religiously aggravated offence.

They were bailed to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Friday February 24 at 10am.
