Yeshivaworld has learned that a few Jewish schools in Lawrence NY were in complete lockdown by the order of Nassau County Police for the past 45 minutes. The order from police came after reports of a gunman on the loose near the HAFTR & BRANDIES Schools – Washington Avenue & Central Avenue. No parents and students were allowed into the schools, and no one was allowed to leave the schools. Additionally, the JCC was also in total lockdown.
After a tense 45 minutes, the Nassau County PD gave the schools the “all-clear” signal and the schools have resumed as normal.

Sounds like a Islamic style terrorist similar to the Chechens who attacked a school in Russia.
