Reply To: Blocking traffic while parking (or waiting for a driver to pull out of a spot)

oncoming drivers who purposely don’t signal on a turn in order to get in ahead of you, and immediately slow down to a crawl?

How does not signaling allow them to get ahead of you? (If they’re making a right, while you’re making a left into the same street, they have the right-of-way to go first in any event.)
