The following update on HaRosh Yeshiva HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita was provided by Rav Kobi Rosenstein.

The rav’s condition has significantly improved today (21 Shevat 5772) Baruch Hashem. His pneumonia appears to be responding to the medication. Doctors remain hopeful that he will be discharged tomorrow. He was not discharged today due to concerns, for doctors explain the rav’s advanced age demand extra care and observation for an additional day.

The treatment for the rav is outstanding, not just medical, but the respect and privacy given to the prominent rav by Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital – so much so that I must thank the hospital publically.
