According to first reports, an explosive device was detonated in proximity to the Israeli diplomatic mission in New Delhi. The blast targeted an Israeli government delivery van on the street immediately near the diplomatic complex. One person was injured.
At almost the same time, a bomb was discovered near the diplomatic facility in Georgia. Apparently, the vigilance of Israeli security personnel led to discovering the device in time, which appears to have been neutralized.
Israel Foreign Ministry officials have stepped up security for diplomatic missions around the world amid mounting threats. Embassies and missions around the world have been instructed to exercise increased vigilance in an effort to thwart attacks.
The same holds true for Chabad houses around the world, also prime targets for terrorists. Israeli security officials in India and other countries periodically meet with Chabad shluchim towards doing their utmost to prevent attacks.

Chabad houses have also been instructed to maintain increased vigilance amid the realization they too are prime targets for terrorists.
13:55 IL: The attacks against the diplomatic facilities coincide with the anniversary of senior Hizbullah command Imad Mughniyeh. While Israel never accepted responsibility for the car bomb attack that killed him, Hizbullah has pointed the finger of blame and Israel and vowed to avenge his death.
