It is now being reported that during the last hour, the condition of Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita has taken a “turn for the worse”. The rav is listed in critical condition.
Earlier today YWN-ISRAEL reported the posek hador was taken off the respirator and the doctors were exhibiting a measure of cautious optimism, telling the public the next 48 hours “are critical”.
Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita has been reconnected to the respirator and the tzibur is called upon to continue tefilos on behalf of Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.
Rabbi Elyashiv remains in a cardiac intensive care unit in Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

I hope that screen shot is just some file footage. Not quite sure why every minor nuance of his condition should be internet fodder. Suffice it to say that the gadol hador is in a great eis tzara, and needs rachamei Shamayim merubim.
