If the person was specifically supposed to suffer then how is G-d following Torah as I was told he did and we know that one may not punish in anger or
make suffer just for the sake of making suffer without the one being punished knowing why?
If his soul needs clensing that could have been done inbetween lives and seems wasteful during a life where he has no clue.

You have all expressed some beautiful thoughts and ideas and I appreciate them all.
At this point in my life my biggest concern is that as I grow older and weaker I will no longer be able to do my physically demanding job for which I get low pay and have no life savings or pension of any kind (except a pittance from Social Security, which I am quite sure will not exist by the time I’d be able to collect it)and no healtn plan (and Obamas plan will only make it worse, I dread existing under THAT plan)which is problem now even before I get that weak.
I have no clue whatsoever what I will do next week or next year or a few years or at whatever point my boss tells me he is hiring someone younger and stronger when he notices that I am not keeping up like I did when I started there, over 12 years ago.
I have no way of fixing my teeth which desparately need fixing right now
(for years now and about to get unbareably painful).
I know, pray, study, give tzoddeka, and hope for miracles and I have been doing that for years now………….sigh………
