Information is circulating regarding the condition of Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita, not from an official medical source, but from Jerusalem mohel Rav Weisberg, who was on the 10th floor of Shaare Zedek Medical Center to visit the rav.
Rav Weisberg reports that the tefilos are working, and while the improvement is slight, there is a return of partial kidney function. In addition he reports the assisted ventilations were turned down to 50%, signaling the rav is once again breathing on his own, albeit partially, but it is reported that the medical team is simply amazed, unable to provide a medical explanation for the change in event.
The tzibur is urged to continue davening for Rav Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha.
