Pakistan has already issued a threat, vowing to attack any nation that dares to launch a military offensive against Iran.
Now, after enjoying Russian and Chinese support in the Security Council, Iran has announced that any military offensive against Syria will be met with an Iranian response. “Any involvement of a foreign army in Syria will lead to a regional explosion” Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi warned.
The foreign minsiter told Hizbullah-run al-Manar TV “military intervention will not solve any problem, especially since the situation in Syria is vastly different from that in Libya. Syria’s main job is to battle against Israel and today, she is paying a heavy price for that struggle”.
A senior Hizbullah official joined in, vowing to “set the region ablaze” if Syria is attacked. Hizbullah officials stated that will prevent the overthrow of Assad.

I would hardly call Pakistan an “axis of evil.” It’s a democracy as of late. Historically, Islamic countries tend to come together against outsiders. Pakistan betrayed their allies in 2001 since they had a wise dictator.
The fallacy of the Israeli position is the belief they could confront some Islamic groups without confronting all.
Russia wouldn’t mind if the Middle East explodes (they will protest loudly, and smile privately as they can charge more for oil exports) and China would object (since they buy oil) but couldn’t do anything.
The matazav is really getting scarey. I guess the only עצה is to have Emunah
To akuperma:
You say “The fallacy of the Israeli position is the belief they could confront some Islamic groups without confronting all.”
Then what should israel do, since it can not confront all of them, let each of them do what ever they whant, and Rahmona Atzlan let them quetely nuke us out ?
Or should we confrant all of them at the same time?
What is your solution ?
akuperma’s falacy is that (1) he feels compelled to air his opinions on every world event. (2) he thinks he knows it all. For a change, just daven for the safety of Eretz Israel and her Jewish residents.
