I dont like this thread… There are good Jews and bad Jews. Jews are not at all immune from the trappings and dangers that are out there. There are Jewish philanthropists, there are Jewish murderers. There are Jewish geniuses and there are Jewish dummies.
To claim or even try and postulate that Yidden are better than anyone else, is silly, ridiculous and dangerous.
We are DIFFERENT – not better. We are supposed to be a ‘light unto the nations’ because we have the Torah. We should be proud of that.
The moment we start to think of ourselves as ‘better’ is the moment when we can start to justify all sorts of chillul hashem.
