A 600-unit self-storage facility on Jefferson Street in the Village of Monticello could become two hotels, two restaurants and a strip mall on 14 acres of property currently known as Stow Mini Storage.
Peter Ferraro, of Gold Key Properties in New York City, laid out a proposal in front of the village Planning Board. He purchased the property, located just off Exit 104 near the racino, five years ago.
He is seeking preliminary approval to build two four-story chain motels. Both would hold 150 rooms.

I have a lot of stuff there and I didn’t hear about this.
A mall wouldn’t survive – not with Walmart around the corner. Just look at what happened to the Apollo.
A strip mall is not the same thing as a mall. It is much smaller.
